Who I am
My name is Rebekka Eliza and I am fashion photographer born Dutch and currently working between Portugal, Amsterdam and Ibiza. I am passioned about capturing beauty and style with my camera and creating memorable fashion photo’s.
What I do
I work on a regular basis on editorials for clients as ELLE and L’Officiel. For advertising clients I create campaigns, look books and content to strengthen their brand identity and show collections in a visual attractive way to their target audience.
With my background and natural eye for style I help brands to create beautiful, high end fashion photography. I can be involved in the whole proces to help create that fashion feel images my clients are looking for.
I am not only there for my clients on the shooting day itself, but from the initial idea and mood board concept to casting models and locations, preparing the styling and gathering the right team together.
In my work I want to show the pure beauty of women in a feminine and natural, beautiful way. I love to use natural light or artificial light that gives the same impression and the tones in my work are naturals like browns, beiges and warm glossy colours that remember me of the Parisian seventies.
Being a woman myself I like to portrait and capture the feminine side of woman in an elegant way, showing pure and natural beauty.
A big influence in my work is the Parisian and bohemian chic, no nonsense style in the streets of Paris and designers as Isabel Marant and IRO. Besides that I have a deep passion for nature, the ocean and it's coastline. Also the spirit of the Balearic Island Ibiza influence me and the sky blue waters of the many small beaches is where I love to shoot.
Before starting photography I have been working in the fashion industry as a designer for many years and this experience is helping me until today. As designer I got the opportunity to see and travel the world and to work with a lot of creative people. By accident I discovered in 2018 the photography part of fashion and instantly knew this was where my heart really belongs.
Recently I spoke to Intercru magazine about my work and vision and journey. You can read it here
