"On a personal level, she is warm and curious, helping clients to make mood boards and making creative suggestions to enhance the outcome of each shoot, and encouraging models to simultaneously reveal softness and courage. “I’m very visual, and my style is very in the moment,” Rebekka explains. “It almost has a documentary feel to it."
Using light and shadow to add drama to a simple shot of a cut-glass cheekbone, definition to a close-up of a knitted cuff, or breath-taking contrast to an otherwise delicate dress. The resulting images bring Rebekka’s visions to life, from the way jewellery is positioned and the hair and make-up direction to the styling and beyond."

ABOUT
Fashion photographer, born dutch, currently based between Lisbon and Paris.
For magazines as Marie Claire, Elle, L'Officiel and others I shoot fashion and beauty editorials. For advertising clients I photograph campaigns and look books, but occasionally I also cover luxury destination weddings.
Before discovering photography, I worked as a designer in the fashion world, until one day i rented a camera, asked a model friend and shot in a local studio some of my own designs.
From that moment on, I knew that photography was my true passion — a form of intuitive expression that brings me fulfilment, drive and endless inspiration.
I find my inspiration everywhere, but unconsciously, everything I experience, see, feel, or passes by goes to a place in my mind and mingles together into something, a feeling that expresses in my work.
